Special Schools Show Announced

The Flying Fruit Fly Circus celebrates its 40th anniversary with the premiere of their latest show Back in the Big Top this December, and have just announced a special schools performance.

The Flying Fruit Fly Circus is one of the world’s premier youth arts companies. In 1979 it began as a local circus project for school kids on the Border. Today, 40 years later, it is an institution of national and international significance.

The kids of the Fruit Fly Circus, known as the ‘Fruities’, have tumbled their way into the hearts of millions of people throughout Australia and the world. Their combined energy, expertise and commitment demonstrates the potential of young people in the most spectacular and joyful of ways.

In 2019, the circus is celebrating a phenomenal 40 years, and invites primary and secondary schools in the region to join us for Back in the Big Top.

Back in the Big Top will feature the entire Fruities ensemble of acrobats aged 8 – 18 years, in a circus big top tent at Hovell Tree Park. This is an unique opportunity for students to experience a highly skilled contemporary performance featuring ordinary kids doing extraordinary things.
